So it has been pretty darn hot in the South since June. That means coming up with lots of inventive ways to keep dogs entertained when the pavement is too hot to walk on. One of my favorite activities is Bully Stick time. They can be kind of expensive, but are worth every penny. I am paranoid about giving my dogs things to chew on because of splintering. The bully stick is the only “chew” I really trust. I just take them away when they get to the possible “swallow” stage. I buy organic no odor sticks. I am sorry I can’t reveal my source because they are often sold out! On the days that I am out of inventive ideas for dog entertainment – the Bully Stick Break works just fine.
